Los Angeles, California – Podiatrist Job

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible podiatrist
• Work for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the Los Angeles area
• Outpatient only – no surgical cases
• No hospital work or privileges
• Group has multiple clinic locations across Los Angeles County
• Split schedule:
• 2–3 days in Bellflower
• Approximately 2 days in East Los Angeles (multiple nearby clinics)
• Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and review medical histories; obtain data through patient interviews
• Perform exams, develop diagnostic plans, and interpret testing
• Implement treatment plans and provide comprehensive podiatric care
• Collaborate with primary care teams and provide clinical consultation
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
• Procedures include:
• Nail debridement and callus trimming
• Wart and ingrown nail excision
• Injection therapy (corticosteroids and anesthetics)
• Skin lesion excision and matrixectomy
• Ulcer care and debridement
• Foot and ankle strapping/taping
• Closed reduction of minor fractures
• Opportunity to supervise and train clinical staff or students
• Work with a culturally diverse patient population
• Determine need for specialty consultation and coordinate care
• DPM degree required
• Residency completion acceptable for California licensure
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Podiatry
• Active California license or ability to obtain
• FQHC or underserved community experience preferred
• Spanish-speaking skills highly preferred
• Open to 2026 graduates able to start quickly
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately one month

• Salary range: $185,000-$200,000
• Monthly productivity bonuses:
• 20 patients/day average: $1,500/month
• 22 patients/day average: $1,800/month
• Four weeks PTO
• One week CME plus CME allowance

• 50% licensure fee reimbursement
