Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician
• Orientation July 9
• Coverage needed July 10 at 12:00 PM through July 15 at 12:00 PM
• 24-hour in-house coverage
• Work days and take call overnight
• Certifications required:
• ACLS
• PALS
• Schedule:
• Start time: 12:00 PM
• End time: 12:00 PM
• 24-hour shifts
• Total beds: 19
• Average daily census: approximately 14 patients
• No ICU
• Critical patients transferred to a facility approximately 1.5 hours away
• Procedures required:
• Vent management
• Central line placement
• Lumbar puncture
• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
• Intubations
• Available specialty support:
• Anesthesia
• General Surgery
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Onsite sleeping accommodations provided
• Credentialing timeline: 60-90 days (expedited options available)
