Locums – Burien, Washington | Endocrinology Opportunity (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

Join a busy, well-established outpatient endocrinology practice providing comprehensive endocrine care in a collaborative clinical environment. This six-month locums opportunity is available due to a provider resignation and offers flexibility in scheduling while working alongside an experienced endocrinologist and dedicated support staff.

Assignment Details

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Alternative Schedule: Monday – Thursday
• Providers available to work 3 weeks per month will also be considered
• FTE: 0.8

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Setting: Outpatient clinic

Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate and treat scheduled endocrinology patients
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders
• Review and manage laboratory and diagnostic results
• Respond to patient calls and refill requests
• Provide call coverage for the practice's established patients
• Complete documentation and charge entry using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical support staff to ensure high-quality patient care

Support & Technology

• EMR: Epic
• Work alongside an established Endocrinologist
• Dedicated clinical support including:
  • Medical Assistant
  • Registered Nurse
• Well-trained Medical Assistant assigned to the practice

Requirements

• Board Certified in Endocrinology (ABIM) – Required
• Active Washington medical license – Highly Preferred
• Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) physicians accepted – Required
• Active DEA registration during credentialing – Required
