We are seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Physician Assistant with at least one year of post-training cardiology experience to join a growing outpatient cardiology practice in the Bronx. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a large multispecialty group.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; Saturday, 9:00am–5:00pm
• H1B visa sponsorship available
• Must have post-training cardiology experience to be considered
Job Summary
The Physician Assistant will work closely with cardiologists to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The ideal candidate has post-training cardiology experience and demonstrates strong clinical judgment and collaborative skills.
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including detailed histories and physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hyperlipidemia, and other cardiac conditions
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, labs)
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing therapies according to clinical guidelines
• Provide patient education regarding disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Accurately document all clinical encounters in the EMR
• Coordinate care with referring providers, imaging centers, and ancillary services
• Support quality initiatives and clinical protocols within the cardiology service line
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• NCCPA certification
• Minimum of one year post-training cardiology experience required
• Experience in a cardiology practice setting required
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
