Must be available for both assignment blocks:

November 27, 2026 (8:00 AM) – December 4, 2026 (8:00 AM)

December 25, 2026 (8:00 AM) – January 4, 2027 (8:00 AM)

Client will consider physicians with:
-
Active New Hampshire license
-
IMLC eligibility
-
Willingness to obtain a New Hampshire locum license
-
-
Onboarding occurs the day before the first shift
Minimum Experience Requirements:
-
At least 100 colonoscopies, including 20 polypectomies, completed within the past 12 months
-
At least 25 EGDs performed within the past 12 months
-
Must be actively performing endoscopy
Clinical Responsibilities:
-
General surgery clinic for new and established patients of all ages
-
Office consultations, minor procedures, patient education, diagnostic testing, specialty referrals, and communication with primary care physicians
-
Supported by a dedicated medical assistant
-
Shared call covering a broad spectrum of rural community general surgery
-
Common conditions include:
-
Hernias
-
GERD
-
Rectal bleeding
-
Gallbladder disease
-
Colon polyps and colon cancer screening
-
Hemorrhoids
-
Dysphagia
-
Breast conditions
-
Diverticulitis
-
Skin lesions and skin cancers
-
Procedures Include:
-
Colonoscopy
-
EGD
-
Appendectomy
-
Cholecystectomy
-
Hernia repair
-
Colon surgery
-
Breast surgery and biopsies
-
Hemorrhoid procedures
-
PEG tube placement
-
Skin and soft tissue procedures
-
Laparoscopic and open abdominal surgery
-
Wound debridement
-
Foreign body removal
-
Limited vascular procedures (optional)
Requirements:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
-
Active DEA
-
ATLS
-
BLS (AHA)
