Clinical Role
Join a highly respected Cardiac Electrophysiology program in Duluth, Minnesota, providing a combination of outpatient clinic and procedural Electrophysiology services. This ongoing locums opportunity is ideal for an experienced Electrophysiologist seeking a long-term assignment in a collaborative, technologically advanced practice environment.

Two Electrophysiology labs and hybrid OR access
Schedule & Coverage
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Automatic unpaid 30-minute lunch daily
Additional Details:
- No call
- No holidays
- Overtime is extremely rare
- Must be available for two Monday-Friday stretches each month beginning September
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Setting: Outpatient
Clinical Mix:
- Approximately 60–70% clinic
- Approximately 30–40% procedures
Patient Volume:
- Clinic Days: Approximately 12 patients per day
- Lab Days: Approximately 3–4 patients per day
Procedures Performed:
- Atrial Fibrillation procedures
- Comprehensive Electrophysiology services
- Other standard EP procedures
Procedures Not Required:
- Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) Ablations
- PVC Ablations
- Lead Extractions
Facility Resources:
- 2–4 clinic exam rooms
- 2 Electrophysiology labs
- Hybrid Operating Room
Support & Technology
EMR: Epic
Candidates must have strong Epic experience within the past 12 months.
Practice within a collaborative cardiovascular team supported by experienced nursing, technical, and administrative staff.
Requirements
Board Certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology – Required
Completion of Electrophysiology Fellowship – Required
Active Minnesota license – Required
IMLC accepted
Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship Electrophysiology experience – Required
Recent Epic experience within the last 12 months – Required
Ability to commit to a minimum 6-month assignment – Required
