Schedule & Coverage

• Restricted on-site call coverage for the entire shift
• On-site inpatient rounding
• Evening call coverage
• Weekend call coverage when scheduled
• Inpatient hospital-based practice

Patient Volume & Deliveries

• Average daily census: 11 patients
• Typical delivery volume: 3–7 deliveries per day

Practice Overview

• OB Hospitalist coverage
• Inpatient rounding and labor & delivery support
• Active physician recruitment underway
• Strong nursing support provided

Technology

• Outpatient EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• Inpatient EMR: Meditech

EMR Training

• Providers unfamiliar with Meditech must complete a 1-hour on-site orientation before first shift

Ideal Candidate

• Board-Certified OB/GYN
• Active Virginia license
• Comfortable with full-shift, on-site call coverage
• Experienced with labor & delivery and inpatient obstetric care
• Able to manage deliveries and obstetric emergencies independently
• Available for one or more August coverage dates
