- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible nephrologist
- Permanent job opening
- Work alongside another nephrologist and an APP
- Outpatient and inpatient duties – the hospital is 2 miles from the clinic
- The clinic has onsite lab, onsite x-ray, DXA, EMG, PT, infusion center, fracture liaison services, and more
- The clinic is open Monday-Friday 7a-5p – physicians have a 4.5 day week with a fixed half day
- Physicians have flexibility on when they’d like to begin their practice every day
- If you’d like, you can spend half a day at the clinic and half a day rounding/doing consults at the hospital
- One week a month would be spent at the DaVita site --- during this week, you have no outpatient responsibilities but you’d round/do consults at the hospital
- Medical directorship at a DaVita site
- Clinic volume for half a day is around 10-12
- Hospital volume varies day to day – on average 7-10 per day, consult service 98% (no admissions)
- Referrals come from in-house internists, as well as, from the hospital
- Call is 1:2 weeknights and 1:3 weekend call
- Call tends to be minimal – the current physician very rarely goes in
- EMR: Medent
