Locums – Riverside, California, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule & Coverage Details

• 24-hour shifts.

• Hospitalists provide backup coverage to midwives.

• Backup is available to hospitalists through OB Hospitalists providing OB/GYN Emergency Department call coverage.

Hospital & Clinical Details

• Level I nursery.

• Approximately 600 deliveries annually.

• TeleNICU support available.

• Anesthesia available on call 24/7.

• Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) services are referred out.

• Hospitalists provide GYN coverage.

• Approximately 150 GYN surgeries annually.

Responsibilities & Procedures

• Provide OB/GYN hospitalist coverage.

• Support and provide backup to midwives.

• Perform circumcisions as required.

• First-assist services are needed and available to hospitalists.

EMR & Technology

• Hospital EMR: MedHost

• Clinic EMR: Athena

• Fetal monitoring system: Centricity
