POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist for call-only locum coverage in La Porte, Indiana.

AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING

• Call-only coverage
• Beeper call
• Call Ratio: 1:1
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Average Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients per shift

Current Available Dates:

• November 02, 2026 at 7:00 AM – December 30, 2026 at 7:00 AM
• Additional shift availability expected in 2027

REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

• Active Indiana Medical License — Required
• Indiana CSR — Required
• Indiana DEA — Required
• Board Certified in OB/GYN — Required
• BLS — Required
• ACLS — Required
• PALS — Required
• Clean NPDB / Data Bank — Required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• OB/GYN Hospitalist experience
• Experience with admissions
• Comfortable managing assigned and unassigned patients
• Experience providing call-only coverage

PRACTICE DETAILS

• Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospitalist
• Department Size: 85 beds
• EMR: Cerner

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for temporary privileges, providers must have:

• Active Indiana medical license
• Indiana CSR
• Indiana DEA
• Adequate case logs for review

KEY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Must have:

• Board certification in OB/GYN
• Active IN license, CSR, and DEA
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Adequate case logs
• OB/GYN Hospitalist experience
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes
• Availability for call-only coverage
