Position Overview

A nonprofit, integrated health system in Northwest Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to join an established and growing community-based practice. This role offers strong specialty support, a large referral network, and the backing of a nationally recognized health system—allowing you to build a long-term career while maintaining work–life balance.

Practice Highlights

• Team-Based Care: Collaborate with three experienced orthopaedic surgeons and five APPs in a collegial, supportive environment

• Balanced Call: 1:3 call rotation at a hospital that is not a trauma center

• Scope & Growth: Strong patient demand and an established referral base throughout the Northwest region

• Technology: System-wide Epic EMR for seamless care coordination

• Future-Focused: No robot currently, with hospital investment underway to enhance surgical services and infrastructure

• Modern hospital with 96 private rooms (expandable to 126 beds)

  • 28-bed behavioral health unit

  • 9-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit

Compensation & Incentives

• Competitive base salary with wRVU-based productivity incentives

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery

• Adult Reconstruction fellowship preferred, not required

• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license

• DEA certification
