We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is a full-time, outpatient-only opportunity with no hospital responsibilities.

Bilingual Spanish is preferred, but not required. H1B visa sponsorship is available. J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 candidates welcome.

Position Highlights

Important: Candidates must have post-training orthopedic experience to be considered.
(New graduates without orthopedic experience will not be eligible.)

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies

  • Perform non-surgical fracture reductions

  • Apply casts, splints, and orthopedic bracing

  • Perform joint aspirations for diagnostic purposes

  • Administer ultrasound-guided intra-articular injections

  • Monitor healing progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

  • Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies

  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and radiologists on patient care

  • Coordinate rehabilitation plans with physical and occupational therapists

  • Provide care via telehealth and in-clinic visits while meeting productivity expectations

  • Document all encounters accurately in the EMR

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

  • NCCPA certification

  • Active New York State license (or ability to obtain)

  • Minimum of 6 months outpatient orthopedic experience

  • Minimum of 6 months experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and joint injections

  • Strong musculoskeletal assessment skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Organization Information

  • Salary range: $130,000–$145,000 annually
