About the Opportunity:

  • Seeking a full-time interventional cardiologist to join an expanding cardiology program

  • Clinical academic appointment available

  • Provide interventional cardiology services at the primary facility

  • Facility provides 24/7 STEMI coverage in collaboration with Pittsburgh interventional cardiologists

  • Procedures performed include:

    • Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations

    • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)

    • Cardioversions

    • Temporary and permanent pacemaker placement

    • Intra-aortic balloon pump placement

    • Peripheral angiograms and interventions (performed by vascular surgery)

About the Practice:

  • Currently includes:

    • 4 full-time cardiologists (2 interventionalists and 2 non-invasive cardiologists)

    • Growing to 6 cardiologists total

    • 10 APPs supporting the cardiology service

  • Additional specialty support includes:

    • 4 electrophysiologists (including pacemaker clinic)

    • 1 heart failure specialist

    • 3 vascular surgeons

    • 1 thoracic surgeon

    • 1 cardiothoracic surgeon

  • Outpatient office in New Castle located within the hospital

  • Full range of diagnostic services available on-site

  • Facility includes 2 cardiac catheterization laboratories
