Clinical Opportunity

A respected health system in Altoona is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join a dedicated inpatient psychiatry team providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health care.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering meaningful, life-changing care while maintaining a strong emphasis on professional growth and work–life balance.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychiatric care with a focus on inpatient treatment

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive treatment planning

• Contribute to initiatives that improve mental health outcomes and advance psychiatric care delivery

• Support a culture of teamwork, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified in Psychiatry

• Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain

• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence
