Full-Time OB/GYN Hospitalist – Davenport, IA
Facility Type: Hospital-Based | Inpatient Only
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent – Not accepting locums or visa candidates Role Overview

• Join a busy and collaborative OB/GYN hospitalist team
• Work closely with community health clinics (FQHC) and certified nurse midwives
• Inpatient-only coverage including:
  • Labor & delivery
  • OB/GYN triage
  • ER calls as needed
  • Post-op and postpartum rounding
• High volume: ~80 deliveries per month
• 24-hour in-house coverage model begins April 2025
• Participate in a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team with anesthesia, NICU, and midwives
• No separate “doc call” – strictly a hospitalist position

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required
• Malpractice: Must have clean record
  • Cannot accept providers with current supervision requirements or active probate cases
• Licensure: Must be eligible for Iowa medical license
• Not accepting: Locum candidates or visa holders (no H1B or J1 for this role)
