We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) with an active New York license to join a Cardiothoracic Surgery service line in Albany, New York .
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
Schedule Options: Weekdays and Weekends (Weekends are preferred)
24 Hour Shifts
Ideal candidates will be able to offer up to 4 shifts per month
Clinical Responsibilities
First assist in the operating room
Vein harvest procedures
Radial Harvest
ICU Procedures: (Chest Tubes, A-Lines, Central line placement)
Post-op care including step-down unit/floor
Management of ECMO, CRRT, Impella devices & IABP
Support the cardiothoracic surgical team in clinic, inpatient, and ICU settings
Floor and Emergency Room Consults
Qualifications
Board-certified Physician Assistant
Active New York license required
OR first assist experience with proven vein harvest skills
