Bronx, New York – Infectious Disease Physician Opportunity

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Infectious Disease physician

• Reason for opening: physician relocation

• New graduates welcome

• 2026 fellows encouraged to apply

• Join a collaborative team of seven Infectious Disease attendings and one nurse practitioner

• Each attending performs four months per year of inpatient ID consults

• Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic

• Monday–Friday schedule

• Call: approximately eight weekends of phone call per year (ID consults only)

• Outpatient clinic volume: 7–9 patients per half-day session

• Each physician completes six half-day clinic sessions per week

• During inpatient consult months, clinic sessions decrease to two per week

• Spanish bilingual preferred but not required

• Teaching opportunities available

• Work alongside an active residency program

• H-1B visa candidates welcome

Organization Information

• Work at one hospital location

• Competitive compensation

  • Base salary: $190,000

  • Up to $80,000 in bonuses

  • Guaranteed first-year compensation of $260,000

• Ability to moonlight within the hospital system (up to $25,000 additional annual income)
