Hematology/Oncology Physician – Bakersfield, California

Clinical Role:

Permanent, full-time hematology/oncology position at an established comprehensive cancer center
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible hematology/oncology physician
Opening due to a planned provider retirement

Schedule and Call:

Flexible schedule options:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., or
Monday–Thursday schedule
Shared call rotation (1:4)

Practice Details:

Join a multidisciplinary cancer team that includes:
4 Medical Oncologists
2 Radiation Oncologists
1 Breast Surgical Oncologist
1 Infectious Disease Physician
1 Palliative Care Physician
1 Dermatologist
1 Naturopathic provider
Participate in bi-weekly breast tumor boards and monthly general tumor boards
Access to clinical trials through a global research team and a partnership with UCLA
