Pediatrician Opportunity – Sacramento, California
Outpatient Only | No Call or Weekends | FQHC Setting

Position Overview
Join a mission-driven, multi-site FQHC located on the east side of Sacramento. This is a permanent, outpatient-only Pediatrician position offering exceptional work-life balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful community impact.

Position Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Call: None

Weekends: None

Setting: Outpatient only, FQHC / community health clinic

Patient Volume & Workflow:
Approximately 22 patients per day
20-minute appointment slots (3 patients per hour model)
Includes 2 telehealth visits per day
40 minutes of administrative time built into the schedule
Providers realistically average 2.2 patients per hour accounting for no-shows
No double-booking

Experience & Expectations:
FQHC or community health outpatient clinic experience preferred
Comfortable practicing in a 3 patients per hour model
Ability to complete charts within 72 hours required
Confidence and proficiency managing in-basket responsibilities including patient messages, medication refills, and lab results
Experience utilizing translation services is helpful (more than 48% of patients speak a language other than English)

Care Team:
Work closely with physicians, NPs, PAs, behavioral health, and dental teams in a collaborative environment

EMR: Epic (highly preferred)
