• Cardiovascular Surgeons: 2
• Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): 3

Clinical Volume

• Program Volume: ~90 surgeries/procedures per month

Procedures Performed

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
• Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)
• Thoracotomies
• Lobectomies
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repairs
• Arterial bypasses
• Aortic valve replacements

Schedule & Call

• Schedule: Scheduled clinic hours + call
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Ratio: 5:1
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• ER Call Coverage: Required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding
• Surgical consults
• Emergency department call coverage
• Admissions required
• Assigned & unassigned rounding patients

Licensure & Certifications

• Board Status:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible – REQUIRED
• Fellowship:
  • Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship preferred
