An established physician-led organization is expanding its Women’s Health Hospitalist Program across premier hospital locations in the Lakeland, Florida area. We are seeking experienced, board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physicians to join their growing team.
Position Overview
Employed hospitalist position providing 24-hour inpatient obstetrical and gynecological coverage
Full-time status achieved with an average of 7, 24-hour shifts per month
No call responsibilities – enjoy a true work-life balance
Experienced OB/GYN team provides back-up support when needed
Hospital Features
Level III NICU
On-site MFM and neonatology support
17 Labor & Delivery rooms, 33 post-partum rooms, 7 Antepartum rooms, and 8 OBED rooms
24/7 anesthesia coverage with 4 operating rooms dedicated to women’s health
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
3+ years of post-training practice experience preferred
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG or AOBOG)
Board certification required within 5 years of eligibility
Active, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
Unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Current BLS certification
