Central Illinois Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

45 Minutes South of Champaign | No Overnights | $460,000 Salary

Clinical Role

• Permanent, full-time Emergency Medicine physician position

• Seeking board certified or truly board eligible Emergency Medicine physicians

• EM residency trained required (no third pathway candidates)

• W2 position only

• No visa sponsorship available

Schedule & Coverage

• Average 15 ten-hour shifts per month (1,776 hours annually)

• No overnight shifts – true nights covered by a dedicated nocturnist team

• No call

• Daily coverage includes 50 hours of physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage

• Cerner EMR

• Standard Emergency Department procedures

• Serve as a clinical resource for APPs; potential future supervisory role

• Open to 2026, 2027, and future-start candidates due to anticipated retirements

Compensation & Benefits

• $460,000 flat salary (no production or RVU requirements)

• $75,000 sign-on bonus

• $100,000 retention bonus
