• Active Texas License – REQUIRED

Board & Certification Requirements (Required)
Nurse Practitioner

• Board Certified – REQUIRED
• Acute Care Adult Certification – REQUIRED
• No First Assist required

Physician Assistant

• Board Certified – REQUIRED (or Texas standard to practice)

Preference: PA preferred; open to both NP and PA candidates Clinical Scope

• Inpatient consult coverage for adult general surgery and trauma patients
• Weekend daytime hospital-based coverage
