• 24-hour in-house OB Hospitalist shifts

Required Credentials
Board Status

• Board Certified OB/GYN – REQUIRED
• Board Eligible NOT accepted

Licensure

• Active Texas License – REQUIRED
• OR IMLC Accepted

Experience

• Minimum 1 year post-residency OB/GYN clinical experience – REQUIRED

Practice Setting

• 255-bed hospital
• 1,400+ deliveries annually
• Level II & Level III NICU
• Dedicated Women’s Center
• New OBED department

Hospitalist Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Cover OB Emergency Department
• Provide coverage for main ED OB cases
• Inpatient rounding
• Manage maternal transports
• Collaborate with MFM and neonatology providers
• No clinic responsibilities
