Maternal Fetal Medicine Locums Opportunity – York, Pennsylvania (Float Pool)
Availability & Schedule

• Start Date: 5/10
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Coverage Need:
  • Full-time preferred
  • Will consider 1 week per month
• Call: Not required (preferred)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine

Certifications

• BLS required

Experience

• Minimum 1 year required

Practice Setting

• Clinic-based
• EMR: Epic
• Peds Level III

Clinical Details

• Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Patient Population: Adults (childbearing age)
• Volume: ~25 patients per day
• Department: Ultrasound interpretation and consultative
• Beds: 10

Support Staff

• 2 Registered Nurses
• 2 Medical Assistants
• 2 Advanced Practice Providers

Required Skills

• Management of high-risk pregnancies, including:
  • Pregnancy-induced hypertension, HELLP syndrome
  • Diabetes (Type I, Type II, gestational)
  • Cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurological, autoimmune disorders
  • Hematologic/oncologic conditions
  • Placenta previa/abruption
  • Multiple gestation
• Procedures/Diagnostics:
  • Amniocentesis (genetic)
  • Ultrasound (performance and interpretation)
  • Level II targeted ultrasound
  • Fetal echocardiography

Preferred Skills

• Strong ultrasound diagnostic expertise

• Outpatient, consult-heavy role
• No required call improves work-life balance
