- Trauma Level: Level II
- Environment: Academic-affiliated (University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine)
- Unit Details:
- 30-bed pediatric inpatient unit
- Average census: 16–18 patients
- 16-bed PICU with dedicated intensivists
Clinical Responsibilities
- Pediatric inpatient ward coverage
- Newborn nursery exams
- ED pediatric consultations
- Collaboration with subspecialists and intensivists
- Teaching residents and medical students
- Participation in academic programs
