Overview
A well-established and highly respected Breast Health Center in Northern California is seeking a skilled and compassionate Breast Radiologist to join its collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment that combines advanced imaging technology with a personalized approach to care.
About the Role
The Breast Radiologist will join a dedicated team of board-certified specialists with expertise in breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and CT. The center is supported by experienced nurse specialists and a multidisciplinary staff committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic care, emotional support, and an exceptional patient experience.
The facility features state-of-the-art imaging technology and modern, thoughtfully designed spaces aimed at maximizing patient comfort. The program is recognized for strong early detection outcomes and a commitment to continuous innovation in breast imaging.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and perform breast imaging studies, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and CT
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Communicate findings clearly and compassionately to patients and referring providers
Support a patient-centered environment with a focus on comfort, education, and guidance
Practice evidence-based medicine with a commitment to clinical excellence
Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree
Board certified or board eligible in Radiology (with intent to obtain certification within one year)
Completion of a Breast Imaging Fellowship
Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Cultural sensitivity and ability to build trust with diverse patient populations
Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required
Work Environment & Schedule
Full-time or part-time opportunities available
