Northern California Cardiologist (Advanced Heart Failure & General Cardiology) Opportunity
Position Overview
A well-established, collegial network of primary care and specialty providers is seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join a growing, community-based practice. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive cardiology care, including management of advanced heart failure and general cardiology patients
Diagnose and treat conditions such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and amyloid heart disease
Participate in a hybrid care model with a mix of inpatient rounding and outpatient follow-up (approximately 30–40% inpatient and 60–70% outpatient)
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in shared call coverage (approximately one weekend every five weeks and one weeknight every other week)
Utilize an electronic health record (EPIC) for documentation and care coordination
Deliver evidence-based care while maintaining a strong focus on patient experience and clinical excellence
Practice Environment
Join a large, single-specialty cardiology group with a strong regional presence
Work alongside experienced physicians and advanced practice providers offering a full spectrum of cardiovascular services, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart procedures, cardiac imaging, cardiac surgery, rehabilitation, and research

Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or equivalent
Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology
Experience in heart failure management and mitral valve disease preferred
Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology certification not required
Open to both experienced physicians and new graduates
Eligible for medical licensure in California
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong patient relationships
