Overview
A growing behavioral health program is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. The program provides a comprehensive continuum of mental health services across outpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and inpatient settings. Care is delivered through a patient-centered, team-based approach, with collaboration among highly skilled clinicians specializing in therapies such as CBT, DBT, interventional psychiatry, and medication management.
Position Summary
This role offers the opportunity to work within an expanding child and adolescent behavioral health program, providing care in both an ambulatory clinic setting and an adolescent intensive outpatient program. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers a collegial environment supported by experienced clinical and administrative staff. An integrated electronic health record system is utilized.
Key Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents
Deliver care in outpatient and intensive outpatient program settings
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
Utilize evidence-based practices, including psychotherapy and medication management
Contribute to a supportive and team-oriented clinical environment
Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree
Completion of fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Board certified or board eligible (with intent to become certified within one year)
Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in California
Commitment to evidence-based care and excellence in patient experience
