Licensure & Credentialing Requirements

  • Board Certification: Required OR truly Board Eligible (Urology)
  • Board Status: Must be current (no lapsed certification accepted)
  • New York Medical License: Required or ability to obtain
  • DEA: Required

Training & Procedural Scope

  • General Urology practice including:
    • Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
    • Urologic cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney)
    • Kidney stones
    • Voiding dysfunction
    • Urinary tract infections
    • Urinary incontinence
    • Sexual dysfunction
  • Procedural expectations:
    • Broad general urology surgical procedures
    • Robotic-assisted surgery (robotic access available with block time)

Candidate Restrictions

  • No visa sponsorship
  • No locum candidates
  • Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
  • No candidates with lapsed board certification

Clinical Role Overview

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient general urology care
  • Perform surgeries at Samaritan Hospital
  • Work within a high-volume, high-demand practice
  • Collaborate with a large primary care referral network
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
  • Participate in shared call rotation (1:4)
  • Contribute to practice growth and expansion
