Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity – Albany & Troy, NY

- Location: Albany & Troy, New York
- Position Type: Full-time, employed cardiologist
- Schedule Options:
- Weekend rounding only (Fri–Sun, 12 PM – 12 AM)
- Traditional hospital/clinic role (40-hour week, 1:5 call, outpatient clinics 2–3x/month)
- Hospital-only shift-based role (7-on/7-off, 7 AM – 7 PM, team coverage by day, solo evenings)
- Call: 1:5 weekend rotation; telephone support overnight; occasional in-person coverage
- Clinic Volume: Average 20–25 patients per 8-hour clinic day
- Hospital Rounds: Team responsible for 50–60 patients daily
Licensure & Credentialing Requirements
- Board Certification: Internal Medicine required at start
- Board Eligible: Truly BE accepted
- New Hires: Must obtain Board Certification within 2 years
- State License: New York
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA
Candidate Requirements
- Open to 2026 new graduates
- Not accepting locums candidates
- Not open to visa sponsorship
- 1099 candidates considered
- No lapsed Board Certification accepted
- Not clearing names for 2027 fellows at this time
Clinical Role Overview
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
- Participate in hospital rounding and outpatient clinics (as per chosen schedule)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiology team across multiple hospitals
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation
- Maintain compliance with all credentialing and institutional policies

Shift & Call Details
