Family Medicine Physician – New York

Quick Screening Snapshot

  • Start Date: Upon credentialing
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4 or 5-day workweek | No weekends
  • Call: Very light
    • Phone: 1x every ~70 days (RN triage first call)
    • Telemedicine: 2–3 hours, 1 weekend every ~3 months
  • Setting: Outpatient only
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Licensure & Certification Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine (required)
  • Lapsed board certification not accepted
  • Must be eligible for New York medical license
  • Experienced physicians preferred

Availability & Commitment

  • Available to start upon credentialing
  • Seeking long-term commitment
  • Open to candidates interested in a full-time outpatient role with shared call

Clinical Scope

  • Full-spectrum primary care (pediatrics through geriatrics)
  • Chronic disease management
  • Acute care and injury treatment
  • Preventive services:
    • Routine exams
    • Cancer screenings
    • Immunizations
    • Lifestyle counseling

Practice Environment

  • Collaborative model with Advanced Practice Provider
  • Physician-led governance
  • Hospital-affiliated support structure
  • RN triage support for call

Additional Opportunities

  • Teaching medical students and NP/PA students

Compensation & Incentives

  • Competitive base salary
  • Productivity incentives starting day one
  • Sign-on bonus up to $75,000 (paid with first paycheck)
