McAllen, Texas – Podiatrist Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible podiatrist
• Full-time position
• Open to 2026 graduates
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Call: Yes, dependent on hospital privileges; currently ~1 week per month with very low volume
• Hospital work not required unless pursuing surgical privileges
• Practice type: Mix of general podiatry and surgical cases
  • Surgeries typically Wednesday afternoons (1pm–5pm)
  • Open to candidates who prefer general podiatry only
• Patient volume:
  • New grads: build at a comfortable pace
  • Experienced providers: 40+ patients per day
• Strong support staff including medical assistants (assist with x-rays and intake)
• EMR: ModMed
• Split schedule:
  • Half days in McAllen and Weslaco
  • Fridays: full day in McAllen
  • Wednesdays: half clinic, half hospital (if doing surgery)

Organization Information:

• Physician-owned private practice
• Base salary: $160,000–$180,000
• Bonus: 20% of collections after $400K (based on individual productivity)
• Partnership opportunity available for the right candidate
• Employment agreement: minimum 2-year commitment
• Includes a 15-mile non-compete from each location
