- Coverage Block #1: August 13, 2026 (8:00 AM) – August 18, 2026 (8:00 AM)
- Coverage Block #2: September 9, 2026 (8:00 AM) – September 12, 2026 (8:00 AM)
Schedule
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Weeknight Call: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend Call: 24-hour call coverage
Call Expectations
- Call volume varies
- Typically called in only for urgent or emergent procedures
- Average procedural volume during day shift: 10–15 procedures
License Requirements
- North Dakota License Highly Preferred
- IMLC Required if North Dakota License is Not Active
Certifications & Qualifications
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology – Required
- IR Residency or Fellowship Training – Required
- ACLS – Required
- BLS – Required
- Must have documented experience performing all required procedures

- Stroke thrombectomy (head/neuro) – Required

- Venous and arterial angioplasty

Interventional Radiology Procedures
- PICC lines
- Central venous catheters
- Port placements
- IVC filter placement
- TIPS procedures
- Aspiration and drainage procedures
- Abscess drainage
- Thoracentesis
- Paracentesis
- Chest tube placement
- Blood patches
Biopsy & Access Procedures
- Percutaneous biopsies (above and below diaphragm)
- Bone biopsies
- Biliary and renal extractions
- Nephrostomy tube placement
- Ureteral stenting
- Renal fistulograms
Hepatobiliary & Oncology Procedures
- Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiograms
- Liver Y90 procedures
- TACE procedures
- Cryoablation
- Uterine artery embolization
Musculoskeletal & Pain Procedures
- Myelography
- Vertebroplasty
- Arthrograms
- Epidural injections
- Joint injections
- Pain management procedures
GI Procedures
- Gastrostomy tube placement
Practice Details
- No diagnostic reading responsibilities between procedures
- EMR: Epic
- Broad-spectrum Interventional Radiology practice
Ideal Candidate
- Board-certified Interventional Radiologist with comprehensive procedural experience
- Comfortable with independent call coverage
- Experienced in both vascular and non-vascular interventions
- Neuro stroke thrombectomy experience strongly preferred
- Available to cover both requested date blocks
