Position Overview
An established healthcare network is seeking experienced Hematology/Oncology Physicians to lead and develop a medical oncology practice in El Paso, Texas. This is a leadership-focused opportunity within a highly integrated cancer care environment supported by strong multidisciplinary resources.
Practice Environment
The outpatient oncology clinic is part of a comprehensive care setting co-located with:
Infusion services
Cancer navigation team
Physical therapy services
The system provides extensive on-site clinical support, including:
In-house laboratory services
Advanced imaging capabilities
Oncology pharmacy
Pathology services
Multidisciplinary tumor boards with collaborative case review
Key Highlights
32 patient contact hours per week
Robust outpatient support team, including:
Patient care technicians
Clinical and office coordinators
Approximately 6 chemotherapy nurses
Oncology pharmacist
Certified cancer navigators
Strong inpatient support structure, including:
Hospitalist team managing admissions
Established surgical subspecialists (breast, thyroid, colorectal, liver) available for collaboration
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience required
Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Compensation and Benefits
Salary guarantee plus wRVU production model
