Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to join a large, well-established women’s health group in El Paso, Texas. This role is based at a flagship regional delivery hospital recognized for its high-level maternal and neonatal care designations and strong reputation for comprehensive women’s services. The environment offers a high-acuity clinical setting supported by extensive specialty resources and a collaborative, subspecialty-rich team.

You’ll join a large OB/GYN practice that includes 18 OB/GYN physicians, 4 urogynecology specialists, and 7 advanced practice providers. The practice is structured to support physician well-being with robust APP coverage and a well-organized call system that limits disruptions to nights and weekends. A dedicated OB hospitalist program manages all OB emergency department cases, significantly reducing inpatient call burden.

This is an opportunity to practice at a high level within a resource-rich institution that also serves as a major teaching site for medical students and residents.

Practice Highlights

Full-time employed OB/GYN position in El Paso, TX
Primary delivery site for the region with a leading reputation in women’s health services
Large collaborative group: 18 OB/GYNs, 4 urogynecology specialists, 7 APPs
Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
24/7 in-house OB coverage model
No OB emergency department call (managed by OB hospitalist team)
Rotating weekday and weekend call for established clinic patients, with hospitalist triage support available
Initial patient volume: ~10–15 deliveries/month; 30–35 outpatient visits per day on non-procedural days
Opportunity for academic involvement, including teaching residents and medical students

Hospital & Clinical Environment

500-bed tertiary care hospital
Level IV NICU and Level IV Maternal Care designation (highest in Texas)
Newly renovated labor and delivery suites
On-site pediatric hospital (140 beds)
Dedicated specialty transport team for high-risk maternal, neonatal, and pediatric patients
Level III trauma center with both adult and pediatric emergency departments


Candidate Requirements

MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Eligible for or currently holding an active Texas medical license
Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required
J-1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted
