An established hematology program in Miami, Florida is seeking a full-time Benign Hematologist to join a busy, multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, academically inclined environment while enjoying all that South Florida has to offer.
Position Highlights
Full-time clinical opportunity in benign hematology
Diagnose and manage a wide range of benign hematologic conditions
Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and blood transfusions when clinically indicated
Develop individualized treatment plans informed by the latest clinical guidelines
Collaborate across disciplines to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care
Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and long-term management strategies
Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects (if desired)
Contribute to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Work within a supportive team that includes advanced practice providers and other physicians
Qualifications
MD/DO from an accredited institution
Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure in Florida by start date)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Prior experience in benign hematology is preferred
