Locums - Jackson, Michigan, CRNA Opening

Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing (urgent coverage gaps)
Schedule: 32–40 hours per week (8s or 10s)
Availability: Must be able to work either Monday or Friday each week
Setting: Hospital-based coverage

Coverage Needs
May 12: 1 CRNA needed
May 14: 3 CRNAs needed
May 19: 2 CRNAs needed
May 20: 2 CRNAs needed
May 21: 3 CRNAs needed

Critical weekend coverage gaps (16-hour call coverage):
June 5
June 13
June 21
June 28
July 9

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia for general surgical procedures (adult and pediatric patients)
Assist with neurosurgical cases and spinal anesthesia
Perform spinal and local infiltration anesthesia as needed
Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout procedures
Maintain continuous patient monitoring (pre-op, intra-op, post-op)
Respond to emergencies, including airway management and intubation
Daily case volume: ~50 surgical cases across multiple ORs
Rotate assignments based on departmental needs
Document all care in EMR

Call Coverage
No routine call required (scheduled shifts)
Additional opportunity for weekend 16-hour call coverage

Practice Setting
Level II Trauma Center
Supervised CRNA role working with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
Collaborative care team model
Multiple operating rooms with rotating coverage
EMR: Epic

Requirements
Board Certified CRNA – Required
Active Michigan license – Required
Minimum 1 year CRNA experience – Required
No employment gaps – Required
Certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA), PALS – Required
