Associate Medical Director – Pediatrics – Sacramento, California

Clinical Role:

  • Outpatient-only Pediatric position in an FQHC setting
  • Leadership-focused Associate Medical Director role
  • Mission-driven, multi-site community health organization
  • Help oversee clinician performance, peer review activities, and quality metrics within Pediatrics
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Officer on strategic initiatives and clinical operations
  • Assist with policy development, workflow optimization, and EHR enhancements
  • Support referral management and specialty access initiatives
  • Provide comprehensive Pediatric care including preventive, urgent, and chronic care management
  • Deliver patient-centered, culturally sensitive care in a community clinic environment
  • Participate in clinician mentoring, education, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Timely completion of documentation, billing, and clinical follow-up responsibilities required

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Current unrestricted California medical license required
  • Minimum of three years of recent outpatient primary care experience
  • Previous leadership or management experience preferred
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school with completed Pediatrics residency
  • Current BLS certification required
  • PALS certification preferred
  • Must be eligible for Medicare, Medi-Cal, and payor credentialing
  • Valid California driver’s license required
