A well-established neuroscience program in the Palm Beach area is seeking a full-time Epileptologist to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on high-quality, patient-centered neurological care. This is an outpatient-focused opportunity for a physician with specialized training in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology.
The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with additional fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology. Candidates must hold an MD or DO from an accredited institution, have an active and unrestricted medical license, or be eligible for licensure by the start date.
Responsibilities
Provide outpatient evaluation and treatment for patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders.
Conduct and interpret EEGs and other diagnostic studies, including EMGs.
Apply in-depth knowledge of neurophysiology, clinical physiology, and epilepsy care in diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions.
Participate in the diagnostic evaluation, selection, mapping, and perioperative management of surgical candidates for epilepsy treatment.
Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons and other clinical colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology.
Fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology preferred.
Active, unrestricted Florida medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure by start date.
