• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible – Required
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania license – Required
• Certifications: BLS, NRP – Required
• Experience: Level III NICU experience required
  • Comfort with resuscitation for 23+ weeks gestation
  • Familiar with neonatal procedures: intubation, chest tubes, umbilical lines, PICC lines, arterial sticks, IV insertion
• Transport Experience: Required

• Shift Type: In-house 12- or 24-hour shifts
• Call Coverage: No separate call; shifts are fully in-house
• Temp-to-Perm Candidates: Accepted

Clinical Setting

• Patient Volume: ~10 patients per shift
• Beds in Department: 16
• Assigned Rounding Patients: Yes
• Trauma Level: I
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

• In-house neonatal care for Level III NICU
• Procedures: intubation, chest tubes, umbilical lines, PICC lines, arterial sticks, IV insertion support
• Transport of neonates as required
• Care for high-acuity infants with resuscitation needs

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in Level III NICU
• Comfortable with high-acuity neonatal procedures
• Team-oriented and flexible for temp-to-perm or as-needed coverage
