Clinical Role

• Inpatient OB Hospitalist coverage only (no clinic work)
• Physician responsible for ER coverage
• Hospital has a 24/7 midwife model: always a physician and midwife in house
• Hospital handles ~1000 deliveries per year (2–3 per day)
• Physicians may perform circumcisions (preferred)
• D&C for miscarriages performed; no elective terminations

Schedule & Call

• 24-hour shifts: 7 AM – 7 AM
• Unrestricted call required
