Clinical Responsibilities
- Advanced neonatal care for high-acuity newborns
- NICU admissions, monitoring, and stabilization
- Newborn nursery coverage and support
- Continuity of care from admission through discharge
- Comprehensive neonatal assessments and treatment planning
- Patient-centered care in a community hospital setting
Team Structure
- Collaborative neonatology physician team
- Multidisciplinary hospital support teams
- Strong physician–APP collaboration model
Scheduling
- Structured shift-based coverage
- Includes 16-hour and 24-hour shifts
