Practice Details

Clinical Environment

  • Level II NICUs and normal newborn nurseries
  • Multi-hospital coverage model (4 facilities)
  • Attend deliveries (no transport responsibilities)
  • High-autonomy practice supported by neonatologists

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide neonatal care across NICU and nursery settings
  • Delivery attendance and newborn stabilization
  • Ongoing neonatal management in Level II NICU environment
  • Work collaboratively with neonatologists and APP team
  • Maintain high-quality, evidence-based neonatal care

Team Structure

  • 6 Neonatologists
  • 1 Pediatrician
  • 16 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs/NNPs)
  • In-house neonatologist coverage with on-call backup support
  • Collaborative, collegial team environment

Scheduling

  • Full-time schedule with 16–24 hour shifts
  • Designed to support work-life balance
  • Rotational coverage across assigned health system
