Locums - Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, Emergency Medicine Opening

Assignment Length: 3 months
Schedule & Shift Details:
- Approximately 10–13 shifts per month
- September shifts:
- Evenings: 3:00pm–12:00am
- Nights: 10:00pm–7:00am
- October–December shifts:
- Nights: 7:00pm–7:00am
Practice Setting:
- Emergency Medicine attending coverage
- Critical Access Hospital environment
- Approximately 14% pediatric patient volume
- Limited onsite specialty support
- Community/rural emergency medicine experience highly preferred
- Providers see approximately 2.5–3 patients per hour
Facility Details:
- 25-bed facility
- Average daily census: 20–24 patients
- Patient population: all ages
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine – Required
- No Internal Medicine or Family Medicine candidates accepted
- Active Massachusetts license – Required
- ACLS – Required
- DEA Massachusetts – Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience – Required
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 3–4 months
Travel & Housing:
- Ideally drive-in candidates preferred
- Hospital housing provided
- Ferry transportation covered by hospital
