A leading provider of cardiovascular care in Southern Arizona is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join an established and highly respected cardiology practice in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time employed opportunity within a physician-led organization dedicated to clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
Opportunity Highlights
Join a collaborative team of experienced physicians and advanced practice providers
Typical clinic-week schedule of 35–45 hours
Shared hospital rotation with 7-day coverage blocks
No call responsibilities past 5:00 PM
Hospital consult responsibilities include interpretation of echocardiograms and EKGs
Patient volumes:
Clinic: 24–30 patients per day
Hospital: 10–25 patients per day
Work alongside a dedicated structural heart team supporting:
High-risk cardiac patients
Cardiogenic shock management
Structural and valvular heart disease
Regional transfer center for STEMI and cardiogenic shock patients
Candidate Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Eligible for or currently holding an Arizona medical license
Strong clinical skills and commitment to high-quality patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
