Position Overview:
As a Surgical Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience and supporting our physicians in both the office and operating room. You will function as a key clinical partner throughout the surgical continuum, from pre-op to post-op care.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled plastic surgeons in both the office and operating room.

Key Responsibilities
Function as First Assist in the operating room under the direction of the supervising physician.
Manage pre- and post-operative patient care, including follow-up visits and patient education.
Support hospital-based activities, including:
Admissions and discharges.
Hospital rounding and documentation of progress notes.
Review patient charts and document all care in the EMR (Nextech).
Help maintain clinic flow and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Partner with RNs and clinical staff, including occasional after-hours follow-up with patients.
Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and organized.
Monitor surgery schedules and coordinate applicable pre- and post-op skincare appointments.
Schedule & Location
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed.
Work setting: In-person, private plastic surgery practice & Hospital
Qualifications:
PA-C with prior operating room experience, ideally in a surgical or plastic surgery setting.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to function independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-end private practice environment.
Proficiency with EMR systems; Nextech experience is a plus.
