Locums – Longview, Washington, Nurse Practitioner – Urology Job

RecruitWell is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a locums Urology opportunity in Longview, Washington. This position offers a mix of clinic, OR, and call responsibilities with the opportunity to work independently across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Details

• Location: Longview, Washington
• Start Date: ASAP
• Coverage Need: 1 FTE
• Contract Length: Approved through December 31, 2026
• Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient Urology
• Coverage Reason: Gap in coverage

Schedule

• Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 9-hour shifts
• Typical monthly schedule includes:
  • 3 days in clinic
  • 1 day in the OR
  • 7 consecutive days of 24-hour unrestricted call each month

Call

• 7 days of unrestricted 24-hour call per month

Practice Highlights

• Coverage at both:
  • Medical Center
  • Urology Clinic (approximately 1 mile from hospital)
• Both hospital and clinic privileges required
• 122-bed facility
• Average 18 patients per day
• Patient population: 17+
• Provider will work independently / solo

Clinical Responsibilities

• Yearly refills
• Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
• Kidney stone evaluation and management
• Male incontinence treatment
• Cystoscopies
• Surgical assist
• Standard urology procedures in clinic and operating room

Candidate Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner preferred due to ability to work without a supervising physician
• Board Certified in Urology – Required
• Active Washington state license in hand at time of presentation – Required
• Washington CSR – Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience – Required
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required

All certifications must be through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
