Required Licenses, Certifications & Qualifications

Required

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Completion of OB-GYN Residency Program
• BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• DEA Registration

Licensing

• Nebraska Medical License required OR IMLC strongly preferred

Practice Setting

• Clinic
• Labor & Delivery
• Surgical Services
• Call Coverage (City Call Model)

Coverage Model

• 1:2 practice coverage model
• Full-spectrum OB/GYN responsibilities
• After-hours call coverage
• CNM backup coverage responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic care
• Labor and delivery coverage
• Gynecologic surgery
• Management of obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Backup support for Certified Nurse Midwives

Required Procedures

• Full scope standard gynecologic procedures
• Clinic-based and hospital-based OB/GYN procedures

• On-site ultrasound available
• Front desk and clinical support staff present
