Position Overview
Our firm is partnering with an established, highly regarded hospital-based nephrology practice in Northern California to recruit a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Nephrologist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team in a well-supported setting with a strong hospitalist infrastructure and a balanced mix of clinic and inpatient consult work.
This position offers the chance to step into a stable and respected practice with consistent patient volume, strong interdisciplinary support, and an attractive quality of life in Northern California. It is well suited for a nephrologist seeking a collegial team environment and a long-term opportunity in a hospital-based setting.
Position Highlights
Join an established nephrology practice with 2 physicians and a need for an additional full-time provider
Outpatient clinic volumes average approximately 15 patients per day
Inpatient multidisciplinary rounds average approximately 15 consults per day
Strong hospitalist program in place, with all admissions handled by the hospitalist team
Call schedule of 1:3, taken 1 week at a time
Work Schedule:
3 Weeks Outpatient
1 Week Dedicated Inpatient
Full-time employed opportunity
Competitive compensation package, including relocation assistance and sign-on bonus
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Fellowship training in Nephrology
Experience with hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis preferred
Eligible for or in possession of a California medical license
